Seeing such senseless violence should break our hearts. It's a heavy feeling knowing that anyone, no matter what they believe, can be capable of such horror. Pointing fingers at whole groups of people only makes the pain worse and keeps us from figuring out how to stop this. We have to remember that we're all connected, and every single life is precious. For we are all image bearers of God in Heaven. If we can just focus on our shared humanity and understand the root of this violence, maybe, just maybe, we can find a way forward together.
